January 1993:

1st Dinner Meeting of the ILC, held at the World Trade Club. Eight chambers represented. (View more pictures...)

January 1994:

2nd Dinner Meeting of the ILC, held at the Buckhead Club. Randy Cardoza, Georgia Commissioner of Industry Trade and Tourism attends, along with Glenda Minken, the Mayor of Atlanta's International Advisor. Sixteen chambers represented.(View more pictures...)

July 1994:

3rd Meeting, a closed organizational meeting at the Ashford Club. Dinner hosted by the President of the Arab-American Chamber. Arab, Hispanic, German, British, Hellenic, and Chinese group-presidents attended.

March 1995:

4th Meeting, a reception hosted by NationsBank in that company's Board Room on the 53rd floor of their Headquarters building. Nineteen organizations represented.

June 1995:

Four ILC representatives invited to attend 1st Annual International Luncheon of business, government, military, civic and educational leaders in Savannah.

October 1995:

5th Meeting, a reception hosted by Delta Air Lines in their Atlanta Marketing offices atop the IBM Tower building. Twenty organizations represented, plus two guest speakers for the first time.

January 1996:

6th Meeting, a reception for not only the presidents of the ILC-eligible organizations, but general members of each organization, hosted by the World Trade Center.(View more pictures...)

May 1996:

7th Meeting, a reception and meeting hosted at the offices of Troutman Sanders by Mr. Joseph White, Chairman, Japan America Society of Georgia

May 1998:

8th Meeting and 3rd dinner, a gala reception and dinner at the Buckhead Club where national flags of each participant were flown for the first time. Twenty chambers represented.(View more pictures...)

March 1999:

9th Meeting and 4th Dinner, a gala reception and elegant dinner at the "new" World Trade Center. Table flags once again displayed for nations represented. Presidents of seventeen international chambers attended. (View more pictures...)

March 1999-2001:

Activities suspended due to professional and business obligations of organizers.

September 2002:

10th Meeting and 5th Dinner held at the Southern Center for International Studies, the first since 1999. With the growth of Atlanta's international business community, nearly 40 individuals representing over 30 organizations attended.

January 2003:

11th Meeting and 6th Dinner held at Troutman Sanders, and hosted by John Beane, Chairman of the Japan-America Society. Colin Brady turns over the Chairmanship of the ILC to Mark Pierson at the end of the meeting. Claire McLeveighn, Director of External Affairs and International Relations from Atlanta Mayor Shirley Franklin's office is the speaker. (View more pictures...)

July 2003:

12th Meeting and 7th Dinner held at Jones Day, and hosted by Bill Rowland, Chairman of the Georgia Council for International Visitors. GDITT Commissioner Glenn Cornell speaks to over 40 representatives of 33 chambers and bi-national business organizations, and praises the ILC for its role in bringing these leaders together.(View more pictures...)

June 2005:

13 Meeting and 8th Dinner held at Jones Day's new Midtown offices, generously hosted once again by Jones Day partner Bill Rowland. GDEcD Commissioner Craig Lesser is the guest speaker and Dean of the Consular Corps Remedios Gomez-Arnau represents the consular corps. New website, www.ilcouncil.com, developed by Southern Polytechnic University, is unveiled at the dinner. (View more pictures...)

August 2006:

Fourteenth Meeting and 9th dinner again generously hosted by Jones Day partner Bill Rowland at the firm’s offices in Pershing Point Plaza. The dinner featured the largest assemblage of bi-national presidents in Georgia history, with over 35 chambers represented. Tom Glaser, President of the American-Israel Chamber of Commerce and Kristian Wolf, President and CEO of the German American Chamber of Commerce, shared their views on what initiatives have worked for their organizations.
